Paint the Town - Barking
regeneration/ branding
Paint the Town is a high-street regeneration project commissioned by Barking and Dagenham council. The objective of the scheme was to brighten Barking town centre, particularly the shop fronts and shutters.
The Life and Times of Call the Midwife

To coincide with the release of the second series, a TV tie-in book was commission, to be written by BAFTA award winning writer Heidi Thomas, the writer of the series. Working closely with Harper Collins and Neal St Productions, we were commissioned to design the book, including much of the behind-the-scenes photography.
Pop Up

Pop-up Projects CIC are a community interest company who engage children and families, schools and communities through books, stories, and the people who make them. Our role was to design a website, to be built in Wordpress, that would appeal to children and adults
ESV Bible Rebrand
banding / design
The ESV (English Standard Version) Bible is one of the world’s fastest growing Bible translations. We were commissioned by Collins to design a brand identity that would represent ESV in the UK and EU. The identity needed to fit a wide range of bibles and differentiate them from US editions and other UK bible publishers.
Inmidtown Habitats
design & creative direction / branding?
Commissioned by the Architecture Foundation, Inmidtown Habitats was an exhibition displaying three competition finalists of design prototypes for urban bee hives, bat boxes and planters. Our challenge was to design the exhibition in an empty retail unit at Central Saint Giles, Holborn, with all prototypes and information to be viewable from outside at street level.
New Windows on Willesden Green
regeneration / design & creative direction / branding
Commissioned by The Architecture Foundation for Brent Council and Design for London, New Windows on Willesden Green was an Outer London Fund project to regenerate Willesden High Road through an advent calendar of shop windows. Partnered with “Glorious Beginnings”, a children's Christian bookshop, our aim was to push the project beyond window displays and transform the entire shop front.

In 2012, Harper Collins publisher asked us to take part Project Evolution – A Brief for Well Designed Books. Taking A Land by Jacquetta Hawkes as the case study, we were asked to research every aspect of the book design. A Land is a classic interpretation of regional culture based on the landscape and the underlying geology of the British Isles.

In 2011 We Are Laura launched a shop on Etsy selling prints and cards. Using paper-craft and printing techniques, our shop is an outlet for us to have fun and experiment with image-making.
Mixed Messages

We Are Laura contributed to the 2nd annual Mill Co. exhibition in conjunction with Monotype. Inspired by the re-birth and transformation of the Monotype font Neue Haas Grotesk, Mixed Messages is a journey of metamorphic transitions. Through a series of quotes, extracted from novels in which a transformation takes place

O Collections in the in-store consumer magazine for Oasis fashion. In conjunction with Mill. Co, We Are Laura art directed and designed the AW10 issue, re-branding and re-designing the magazine with an objective to producing a high quality product and brand showcase that the consumer would keep on their coffee table for the season ahead.
