In 2014 we were commissioned by Firefly Tonics to create a window design and interactive photo gallery at Whole Foods in High Street Kensington, London. Using the iconic polaroids that feature on the Firefly bottles as inspiration, we created a dynamic window design incorporating giant polaroid light boxes, expanded 3D polaroids and colourful type and props that break out of the black and white photos. The window was design to be viewed from both the front and the back.
Alongside this, Whole Foods customers were encouraged to join a photo gallery upstairs in the store that would grow over the duration of the window display. We created a series of fun interactive set-ups, providing interesting ways for the photos to be taken. A giant walk-in polaroid with a sea-side backdrop was built and we provided colourful props to contrast with the black and white background.
In September, elements of the Whole Foods design will travel to Festival No. 6, a music festival in Portmeirion, Wales. The photo gallery will continue to grow in an exciting woodland photo installation.
